FEDERAL RESOURCES
- US Small Business Association
- The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to California small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). For the most up-to-date information as the Small Business Administration implements the CARES Act, this page will have the best central information from SBA: https://www.sba.gov/page/coronavirus-covid-19-small-business-guidance-loan-resources. - CORONAVIRUS RELIEF OPTIONS:
- Paycheck Protection Program: An SBA loan that helps businesses keep their workforce employed during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Lenders may begin processing loan applications as soon as April 3, 2020.
- Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance: This loan advance will provide up to $10,000 of economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing temporary difficulties.
- SBA Direct Bridge Loans: Enables small businesses who currently have a business relationship with an SBA Express Lender to access up to $25,000 quickly.
- SBA Debt Relief: The SBA is providing a financial reprieve to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

- Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download applications at disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance.
- The deadline to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan is December 16, 2020.
- These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the disaster’s impact. The interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses without credit available elsewhere; businesses with credit available elsewhere are not eligible. The interest rate for non-profits is 2.75%.

- IBank Small Business Finance Center, Disaster Relief Loan – The SBFC loan designed for Disaster Relief specifically is currently available to small businesses and nonprofits in need of assistance to overcome economic injury caused by COVID-19.

- Employers experiencing a slowdown in their businesses or services as a result of the coronavirus impact on the economy may apply for the UI Work Sharing Program. - California Employment Development Department Rapid Response Services for Businesses – Employers planning a closure or major layoffs as a result of the coronavirus can get help through the Rapid Response program. Rapid Response teams will meet with you to discuss your needs, help avert potential layoffs, and provide immediate on-site services to assist workers facing job losses.

- Work Sharing Program – Employers experiencing a slowdown in their businesses or services as a result of the coronavirus impact on the economy may apply for the UI Work Sharing Program. - California Franchise Tax Board Tax Relief – Affected taxpayers have been granted an extension to file 2019 California tax returns and make certain payments until June 15, 2020.
